D'you say that those marauders killed 30 people? Only? How under-effective! Izit that they didn't see more people to kill; or that their ins'ruments became blunt, and failed'em? Whaz 30 rats in a bush of over a 100 million rats?...Including very fat skunks & obese store-rats, in heavily guarded storerooms ...?
30 rats! Too few!
Thaz too few!
Shame onto those maim[ing]-folks for being too lenient!

Mmn-gerian fat rats wave the population of MmN-geria, as an impregnable or undefeatable plot of greatness. But apart from noisy showiness, it's as meaningless to them as it is to other enclaves in Africa, tho' for different reasons. What's it to a Botswanese or Moçambican or a Ghanaian...: that a 5th of africans in Africa is nigerian(s)?
Since the fat-rats have so much petty rats at their disposal, to throw away whenever they wish, it might mean that the loud noise by lousy fat rats concerning the "massacres" is just that: noise; not sympathy...

Anyway, Whatever..., whether it's the original "ɓokô-hæræm", that group of groups of MidnightChildren, bitterly anti-governmental, or their new metamorphosis: the fallouts or by-products of the stupendously moneyed military contracts of 2012 & 2013, who now "work" hand-in-hand with some of the "officials" of the so-called gov'ment {a théâter of absurdities}, using the blood of "harmless" farmers, shopkeepers et ceteris sequentia as contract baits, they've never actually been uninterested in perpetuating this bloody mess... Everything's monetized or monetizable here. And the love & passion of (the possession of) money...can't you imagine?
(I used the word "HARMLESS" here in a relative sense)
Anyway, nigerians generally, don't deserve anything the better... Indeed, they may deserve the worse!
North of nigeria is brimful of allahist sentiments (stupid Allahism is too concentrated here) that readily short-circuit and dissipate any attempt at useful change even in little, unimportant, things; while at same time the people wallow in grief under the statusquo...
The grim evils in nigeria are so popular in nigeria that anytime any big nigerian rats condemn them, one can be sure that 100 of 101 of such public speeches are invariably insincere.

Of the pieces of information we "stole" in 2012, only those few elicited from Camerounians were "straight & standing". Of those many from Nigeria, most were deliberately multiplied or convoluted to make th'efforts of sincere investigators, who aim at exposing the source of the troubles, fruitless... Plus the police that loves public disorder and incriminating the uninvolved so as to protect the criminals...
By the time we tried to peep in again in 2013, many things have become multitudinously complicated...
In 2014, One began to feel: this people create & enjoy their own woes; so leave them...
There are too many complicated matters.

I've been involved a couple of times in transporting or conveying engineering equipment from a point to another in W Af', just around the central part of the gulf of Guinea...
So I can make inference concerning the transport of the instruments being used in all this... The real insurgents don't make'em; nor can they transport'em across the desert & sahel without being detected, or getting lost. Transport needs energy... How do they get it undetected? And if by ocean front, how....? And is destroying little, marginally involved, rats while leaving the big ones who are cardinally involved, the reasonable strategy against an undesirable gov'ment & the woe-maximising system it is preserving? Who doesn't know that a dry-hearted but squeamish thing as this would never 'hearken'... unless...? And why do "they" always spare the large rats within easy reach, in each bout of massacre, thereby barely avoiding igniting the fuse that could detonate the whole mass and bring about the achievement of their aim, if they're sincere?

Allah ya kara muku... {May Allah increase such to you}.
Thaz a violent greeting from some presumably mosque-men to some church-people, so-called christians, who were transporting some corpses to a cemetary in Mubi.

Alphonse de Lamartine tells us that a people who don't have faith in anything superior to their individual selfishness cannot have national virtue. And without national virtue, the nation, the people, cannot be free. Such people neither defend nor restrain their liberty. They're, in turns, ferocious tyrants and cowering slaves.
I add: and so they do not obey the codes, called constitution or laws, of their liberty (as a second conscience) except by external force.
Because they lack both the
D'fense Courage & the R'straint Conscience.
Where extreme selfishness reigns, there's no vision; people may gaze...but they do not see; they cannot see.
